| Almost sanded... whew! |
|
| TV pocket detail. Notice the access opening for cable access? It will have a flush mounted
melemine door 36" x 8" (It's a shelf board) mounted on hidden hinges. Kewl... |
|
| Pocket detail before texturizing. |
|
| Notice the access door... and my little helper, Trinity. |
|
| She's so cute... |

TV in, Stereo in. Soooo close. Still have to make drawer fronts for the CD drawers, and
cut out the Oak banner for the top-most pocket.
I have a couple of final images to post, and I'd like to get the glass shelves installed, too. The effect of the light shining
down through them is going to be spectacular....Stay tuned my vast audience... |
|
as of 02/27/2002: OK...here are the final images.
Here's a picture of the mini-cubes in the back of the room. Surround sound is sweet! |
|
I have the oak trim installed in the top cubby hole.
And here is a shot of the glass installed in the corners. |
|
Nice lighting effect. I told you it would be cool!
AND, the shot you've all been waiting for! All decked out. If you look closely, you can see the final touches in the oak banner, and my wife
filled it out with some knick-knacks. The chess set is authentic Mexican onyx. We got this on out honeymoon in Cozumel. (I think it's authentic, anyway) |
